At The Harbor, we endeavor to be "A Place for Rest, Restoration, Preparation and Launching,"
and we have incorporated these goals into our Children's Ministry, including Children's Church, Sunday School, our service & outreach opportunities and fellowship events.
Children’s Church (during the sermon)
3-5 years old: We teach children timeless truths of the Bible in a way that excites and engages. We utilize Group Publishing Company's Buzz curriculum with unique, fun themes and age-appropriate lessons.
Elementary: Children ask BIG questions. We provide BIG answers from the Bible. Age appropriate activities are conducted around the theme "The Big Wave".
Sunday School (10:45 to 11:45am)
3-5 years old: Through additional interactive games and activities, the lesson taught during children's church is reinforced.
Primary Elementary: Continuing with the "Big Wave Discovery" curriculum, children in grades one thru three are taught lessons through fun activities and games with scripture memorization as a key focus.
Upper Elementary: Children in grades four through six are taught from the "Firm Foundations" series. This is a "Creation to Cross" series that the upper elementary students have really enjoyed over the years. It tells some of the familiar Bible stories in a chronological format, with a clear Gospel presentation.
Nursery Care is available during our church service and Sunday school for infants to 3 years of age.
